We were recently asked to present our ideas and feasibility studies for an upgrade to a 80s style large reception, entrance area and break out space for a blue chip client in the city of London.
After analysing the space, including the way the 24 hour reception functioned, we got a clear direction of how the space might benefit from a ‘city airport’ style drop down space, soft furnishings, presentation screens and a new refreshments area.
The small space also had to include the practicalities of a staff entrance security room, digital check in and out reception for clients, visitors and employees of the organisation. This is along side the requirements for presentation screens, rest and work areas, refreshments zone for inductions and lunchtime seminars.
