This morning we are delighted to have received full planning permission for our bejou’ Golf ‘swing studio’, located in the residential conservation area of ‘Park Langley, Beckenham, BR3.
A golf swing studio is a hybrid experience, allowing you to physically play golf on a virtual course. This can be any course in the world, from the old course in St Andrews, Scotland to Hirono in Japan.
Our clients are delighted to be able to start the next stage; tendering, procurement, detail design – with a view to getting on to site ASAP. Just in time for watching the 150th Open, being hosted in St Andrews, Scotland in July.
This is a great example of one of our smaller schemes, that has all the same challenges as our larger proposals. The current aim is to move forward at pace, with a local builder, whilst continuing to build relationships with the specialists from ‘Reality Golf’, who are the experts for the specialist equipment.
This should enable the project to get rapidly on site before the clocks go back in October this year.

If you, like us, do not have the budget to build a swing studio in your rear garden, why not pop into Smithfield’s, ‘Urban Golf’ where I hosted my ‘sten’ in 2008 – https://urbangolf.co.uk It is a great place for a night out with a different ‘swing’ to it, lovely location and venue.
